Since I've been online for over 11 years, I've had experience
with many services and scripts to run things for my business.
Below are the resources I've researched, use and some I've been
using for many years.

DOMAIN NAME

(Domain hosting - I ALWAYS buy my domain names separate from my
website hosting in case one goes down or out of business, I can
still access to the other. So feel free to use Domain It to purchase
your NAME, but get your hosting at a different comany like the
one I suggest below...)
WEBSITE HOSTING
· Host
Gator (Website hosting - I researched A LOT before I found
this place)
Get a Hatchling or Baby account for small businesses with low
traffic or get a bigger hosting package for business with high
traffic... if you have or expect to have lots of websites, I would
recommend a dedicated server. This host also has a great control
panel that allows you to use a File Manager to upload files and
you can install the free WordPress blog system that I use and
so many more features.
ACCEPTING PAYMENTS ONLINE

(For accepting payments online electronically)
NEWSLETTER HOSTING SERVICE
· Aweber
(For multiple newsletter hosting and autoresponders - this company
stays on top of email compliance) I've tried some on-site scripts
for email service and found that using a third party company it
way better. You don't have to worry about getting your website
banned just because someone marked your email as spam. You don't
have to worry about software upgrades and deliverability. You
can easily set up html or text emails, autoresponders, tracking
and much more.
The other thing I like about aweber is that they charge for the
number of subscribers, not the number of emails you send out.
So, I can have a newsletter list of people that I can send a newsletter
out to as many times in a month that I want to, not worrying about
the number of messages I would be charged for sending out.
WEBSITE FORUM

(For forums. It is a free forum system, but I usually pay Justin
the $20 install fee)
CONTACT FORM
· My
Contact Station (Spam proof contact form, tell-a-friend form,
and more for your website)
PRE-DESIGNED TEMPLATES -unless I create unique designs
· Template
Monster (For quick templates when I don't want to make one
of my own. I just buy one and tweak it... you must have a good
understanding of graphics, website html, Flash, and CSS and the
software available to tweak these, otherwise, make your page from
scratch.)
SOMETIMES USEFUL

Friend Generator : Allows people to tell more than one friend
at a time about a website, can add a bonus, can track stats, etc.

FavIcon Maker : for those little icons that people see in
their browser web address bar.
